ABOUT US
Where Poppies Grow Ltd is a independent film production company set up by film veteran, Ronnie Papaleo to specialise in the production of military themed films.
Despite being on the doorstep of the Lake District, Carlisle does not currently boast any kind of production house which is suitable for large scale and international film productions. Productions who film in the county have had to use alternative film studios to complete their productions after principle photography in the Lakes.
Realising the need for a large scale film studio in Carlisle to serve the Cumbria area, Ronnie and the team are in the process of developing their current studio space at Kingmoor Park, which will create jobs in the local area, boost the local economy and help productions reduce their costs and their environmental impact by providing everything they would need to complete production.
