Ronnie Papaleo - Company Director

Ronnie trained as a commercial artist at Mid-Cheshire School of Art and Design, and an interest in history has guided him through his career. His first position with the Manchester Museum led him to a freelance path, prop making from his own workshops. It was a natural progression into film, television and theatre, providing costume, vehicles and props of all kinds for many productions. Band of Brothers, Charlotte Grey, Atonement, Valkyrie, and recently, the Outlander TV Series.

 

Where Poppies Grow is a new Independent Studio Venture with its own slate of projects starting with 'Pendragon; when the light fades', a WW1 feature being filmed in the north of England.

Lyndsey Walker - Production Co-ordinator

Lyndsey Walker is a filmmaker who is also an experienced Assistant Director. Lyndsey set up a digital filmmaking company Wright Walker Productions Ltd in 2007 with her partner Jonathan Wright and wrote and directed their first short film venture 'The Red Shoes'. Lyndsey has since written and directed a number of films, both for Wright Walker and for external creative projects including two heritage lottery funded films 'Footprints of our Fathers' and 'To Stay and to Serve' with the charity NADT.

 

On 'Pendragon' Lyndsey has assisted Director Ronnie Papaleo in script development and is currently helping to co-ordinate the pre-production stage and will be the 1st AD during production.

Nick Gordon - Production Casting

Nick is an actor, screenwriter and former manager of a local Supporting Artist agency. Nick currently writes under a literary manager at Smith International Productions in the U.S.

 

Recently, Nick gained representation as an actor with Mary Liz Management based out of London. Nick will take the role of finding and sourcing Talent for the many roles needed for 'Pendragon' as well as playing a small part in the film.

Jonathan Wright - Director of Photography

Jonathan Wright is a specialist Director of Photography, Camera Rig Operator and Editor.

 

Utilising his engineering background, Jonathan has built bespoke camera rigs for filmmaking projects, including steadicams, jibs and a 6 metre crane.

 

In addition to Jonathan's camera and edit work, he also designs special effects for film, using pneumatic squibs, green screen and composite software programmes.

Holly Reynolds - PA to Company Director

Growing up surrounded by the entertainments industry, Holly has assisted Ronnie with several film projects in a variety of roles.

 

Holly is highly experienced in project management, marketing  and brand awareness. In addition to Holly's office experience, she is also a talented artist who also undertakes commissions in design work, portraits and watercolours.
