Before founding Where Poppies Grow, Ronnie Papaleo spent a lifetime chasing stories.
His journey began as a commercial artist, leading him through castles, theme parks, film sets and television studios. Ronnie immersed himself in every world he encountered, building a remarkable depth of knowledge and earning a reputation as Mr. Detail.
Whether recreating medieval legends, advising on wartime productions or building worlds from the ground up, Ronnie was fascinated by the people, places and details that made the stories feel real.
Where Poppies Grow was born from that same spirit- a belief that great storytelling should be driven by imagination, craftsmanship and determination rather than budget alone.
Today, that journey continues.
