PENDRAGON

WHEN THE LIGHT FADES

Some horrors are born in war. Others awaken because of it.

THE STORY

Cambrai, France, November 1917

Arthur, a British Mark IV tank, lies stranded in No Mans Land. Inside, eight men are cut off from their own lines, with the enemy watching and no easy way home.

As darkness falls, the battlefield grows quiet- but fear and exhaustion begin to take hold...

And with them, the realisation that the enemy is not the only horror waiting in the darkness.

Pendragon: When The Light Fades is an independent feature film currently in production by Where Poppies Grow Ltd.

YEARS IN THE MAKING

Pendragon has never been a conventional film production.

Built piece by piece over a number of years, it has brought together an extraordinary mix of professional filmmakers, craftspeople, performers and volunteers, many contributing their skills simply because they believe in what we are trying to make.

Production has faced its share of challenges (from covid to the studio flooding!), but the commitment to finish the film has never changed.

Following the death of W.P.G founder and Pendragon writer and director Ronnie Papaleo in 2026 the team made a simple promise:

WE WILL FINISH WHAT WE STARTED

THE STORY ISN'T OVER YET

Pendragon: When the Light Fades is currently in production.
